Who needs Santa when you’ve got ROG?

The Munster and Ireland legend is, of course, busy in his role as a coach with Racing Metro these days but he took time out last week to make one Irish rugby fan’s Christmas.

And he wasn’t even bothered by the fact that he’s from Kerry either.

As part of a Christmas campaign title ‘The Perfect Surprise’ Three have been delivering seasonal spontaneity to unsuspecting people across the country.

Hundreds of entries flooded in as people nominated their loved ones for a well-deserved surprise this Christmas, including Elaine Cullotty from Tralee, who’ll get to treat her dad Denney to his ‘perfect surprise’, which is “to finally see the Irish rugby team on home turf”.

Denney was going about his business as a delivery man last week when his sporting hero Ronan O’Gara stopped by to personally deliver tickets to Ireland’s massive Six Nations clash with England in the spring.

ROG also presented him with an Irish jersey that will be signed by the Irish squad and he also took the time to have a bit of a chat with Denney and to let him know who was responsible for what really is a fantastic Christmas gift.

If this doesn’t warm you heart on a cold December afternoon we don’t know what will.

Fair play to you ROG.
