St Pat’s Europa League campaign kicked off in some style in Lithuania last night.

St Pat’s are no strangers to European football and last night they produced another very fine showing, returning from a tricky tie with Zalgiris with a very handy 2-2 draw.

But the bald scoreline doesn’t tell the tale of this game. Twice Pat’s fell behind before a stunning goal by Gerard O’Brien earned them a draw with three minutes to go.

This video shows the full match highlights but there are three moments you simply can’t miss.

The first is the second Zalgiris goal by Kamil Bilinski, who injures himself in spectacular fashion as he celebrates. Check out 4.35 to see it.

O’Brien’s stunner is at 5.50 and then make sure you stay to the end as the power in the stadium goes about a minute before the end of added time, forcing the ref to blow it up early.

If the rest of the Europa League is half as good as this, we’re in for a cracking season.
