As the GAA starts to wind up, we’re sure we will have lots and lots of big hits to enjoy but we will wait a long time to see one as tough as this from the Ashbourne Cup at the weekend. In the colleges camogie final between WIT and UL, the WIT centre back makes sure that the UL wing forward goes no further towards goal.
The hit resulted in a yellow card for the WIT player, which was very lenient, but the title went to UL in the end.
