VIDEO: The amount of absolute belters in the Goal of the Season from the League of Ireland is incredible

Take your pick.

Another season of domestic football is about to finish this week as Cork City and Dundalk meet each other in the FAI Cup Final but the last action of the league season took place on Friday and there was drama and goals aplenty.

Drogheda United fans will be licking their wounds after they fell into the First Division while Dundalk were already celebrating after Stephen Kenny’s men secured back-to-back titles in emphatic fashion.

Richie Towell was by far the best player in the league this season, his incredible tally of goals from midfield is testament to that, and the former Celtic man features prominently on Soccer Republic’s Goal of The Season selection. His efforts against Galway and Bray are breathtaking.

Derry City fans may not have had the most memorable season on the pitch but there’s no denying that they saw some absolutely spectacular goals. Greg Bolger and Chris Forrester of St Pats scored two crackers against the Candystripes while Bohs’ midfielder Kealan Dillon also netted with a truly wonderful volley in front of the Brandywell faithful.

This is almost impossible to call. Which one is your favourite?
