With no World Cup or European Championships to keep us occupied during the summer, Sky Sports didn’t really have to go all out to big up the return of the Premier League; we’re all dying it for it to return anyway.
They’ve gone and done it anyway with a fantastic ad featuring Thierry Henry placing himself in some of the most iconic moments in Premier League history, from Klinsmann’s dive to Yeboah’s scorcher, Stevie G’s camera kiss to Keane and Vieira’s confrontation in the Highbury tunnel.
The best league in the world? Maybe, maybe not, but Lord it can’t come back quickly enough.
