Not a bad day’s work…
The staff at Wembley Stadium had a busy weekend. They had to ensure a perfect playing surface for the English football team as they took on Peru in a pre-World Cup friendly on Friday night. Then, on Saturday night, they had to turn the stadium into a boxing arena for Carl Froch and George Groves’ big title fight.
The way they turned it around was very impressive and the FA have released a time-lapse video showing exactly how they did it, capturing the process from the start of the football match right through to the end of the boxing match.
If you consider that they did all of that in less than 24 hours, it’s pretty spectacular…
