When JOE was a wee lad our regular Saturday morning football matches weren’t a glitzy or glamorous affair.
They usually involved standing around shivering in the rain with your mates while desperately hoping that the referee would show up. The only people on the sideline were our manager, our parents, and the occasional lost person that probably slept on the park bench the night before.
We certainly never got this sort of ticker-tape parade when entering the pitch, but having seen this Pee Wee American football team make complete fools of themselves, we’re sort of happy we didn’t now.
Take a look at the Wallkill Mighty Mites and their hilarious struggle to burst through a banner before their recent football game. Their glorious fail was captured in super slow motion and set to the classic theme tune from Chariots of Fire.
