Generally speaking, the moms of this world are an under-appreciated species. The luckiest among us are blessed with mothers who would do just about anything for us.
We don’t know the first thing about UFC fighter Khalil Rountree’s mother, but we’d be surprised if she deserved the telling off she got from her son mid-bout yesterday night at a TUF event.
The 26-year-old fire was in dire straits in the second round against Andrew Sanchez last night and clearly whatever his mom had to say to him wasn’t very helpful.

The judges also clearly didn’t like Rountree’s attitude, as Sanchez won by unanimous decision. Thought that may have also had something to do with Rountree getting his ass beat pretty badly.
