The guys from the Titleist Performance Institute decided to see what it would look like to chip a small GoPro Camera out of a bunker. The result is pretty cool.
Have you ever wondered what it might look like to have a video camera strapped to a golf ball? It would certainly give the sport a completely new perspective, but sadly camera balls are still some way off.
So Dave Philips from the Titleist Performance Institute decided to try the next best thing, by chipping a GoPro camera out of a bunker and into a hole.
Now, we know what some of you are thinking, “It’s clearly a fake”. Well, according to the guys from Titleist, “It took Dave 8 try’s. used the same camera all right times (sic). Speaks to the durability of the GoPro Hero 3!”
It’s a pretty cool piece of footage, even if it’s a little dizzying, and it’s sure to start a new trend among GoPro owning golfers – at least we hope it does.
