The WBA Light Welterweight champ is nicknamed ‘Swift’ and he didn’t hang about in dispatching Rod Salka in Brooklyn.
Danny Garcia has a fairly impressive lost of victims on his 28-0 record. Erik Morales (twice), Zab Judah and Amir Khan have all been dealt with by the Philadelphia fighter so Rod Salka was always on a hiding to nothing in Brooklyn last night.
Nowhere near the class of Garcia, Salka survived round 1, but he was dropped three times in the second, and the decisive final one was a thing of beauty and might give Khan an unpleasant flashback.
