Very well deserved.
The Ballon d’Or awards in Zurich are commanding an awful lot of attention today, even more so around these parts given Stephanie Roche’s nomination for the Puskas award.
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been as much attention on the first annual Fallon d’Floor award, a competition that originated on Reddit in order to ‘reward’ the worst example of simulation in the last 12 months.
Arjen Robben, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez were all amongst the nominees, but it came as no surprise to learn that the award went to Adryan of Leeds United, who collected 32% of the overall vote for his ‘fish out of water’ impersonation against Derby last November.
And, as you’ll see below, there can be no real arguments with that effort winning the not so prestigious award.
