We feel his pain and yet we still laugh...
We're certain that it takes comedy writers years and years to develop their craft as they practice the art of storytelling, comedic timing and improvisation. Knowing what's funny is never an exact science because jokes and observations can bomb depending on the audience that they're told in but we're fairly certain that a man getting hit in the groin is hilarious no matter where you are in the world. Who needs Oscar Wilde when you can look at umpire Paul Nauert getting hit in his meat and two veg during the recent meeting between the LA Angels and Kansas City Royals.
