We’re big fans of Swansea’s gifted playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson here at JOE Towers mainly because he reminds us of our own abilities on the football pitch. Like him we also have an eye for a pass, unbelievable technique and the habit of scoring some incredible goals. Seriously, we do.

Sigurdsson is also in JOE’s good graces because he has contributed a bucketload of points to our Fantasy Team, sign him up now if you haven’t already.

It seems that the Icelandic international isn’t that popular in certain parts of North London though after the former Spurs player scored this wonderful free-kick against Arsenal.

Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring at the Liberty Stadium but Garry Monk’s men replied in the best possible fashion before the wonderfully named Bafétimbi Fredius Gomis’ 78th min winner secured all three points for the Swans.

What a hit.
