Vine: Uruguayan player gets knocked out cold by Raheem Sterling's knee
Alvaro Pereira was left spark out after this accidental clash but he has stayed on the field.
We would have thought that after this incident Uruguayan defender Alvaro Pereira would have been taken off the field for a concussion assessment but he is playing on.
In an attempt to tackle Raheem Sterling, the Liverpool man's knee collided heavily with the defender's head. It looked painful at the time and the camera showed Pereira out cold on the turf in the aftermath of the clash..
Yet, after a small row with a doctor on the sideline, he stayed on the pitch.
