In Ireland, we know all about having to play sport in conditions that would be best described as unforgiving.
With that in mind, we can sympathise with the footballers of Cape Verde and Zambia, who had to play an African Cup of Nations game today in conditions so wet that they were as well off getting rubber duckies out.
There’s only one thing to do under the circumstances…
