A last minute conversion made all the difference as Connacht beat Wasps in a Champions Cup thriller on Saturday evening.
The Jack Carty kick dealt Wasps their first defeat of the European season in style and saw the westerners clinch the game 20-18.
Connacht’s centre Bundee Aki was elated after the Connacht win and he expressed it in pretty clear terms during the post-match interview, channeling his inner-Johnny Glynn.
When paying credit to his opponents Aki said, “Great credit to Wasps, they’re a fucking great team,” before earning himself a telling off from the Sky Sports interviewer.
“They’re a bloody great team,” he revised, on mature deliberation.
