WATCH: Conor McGregor has rarely looked this pumped up before as UFC 202 approaches

Paul Moore

Not long to go now.

Conor McGregor is excellent at getting into the heads of his opponents as the ice-cold demeanour of ‘The Notorious’ usually stands in direct contrast to the agitated and the irritated mindset of his opponents.

For example, it was clear to see the impact that McGregor’s words had on Jose Aldo and Dustin Poirier when they stood toe-to-toe with the Dubliner in the octagon.

The featherweight champion has always been quick to say that he sees the fight game as strictly business, but in the build up to his highly anticipated rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202, it’s rare to see Conor McGregor get this riled up.

The latest episode of UFC Embedded begins with ‘The Notorious’ promoting his rematch with Diaz and losing his trademark cool backstage. While we’re very aware that the adrenaline must be pumping through his veins. it does make for fascinating viewing.

This being said, we fully expect McGregor to be his usual calm, calculated and ruthless self at UFC 202. This should get you pumped.
