Joe Brolly and Pat Spillane are no strangers to an on-air difference of opinion, but Brolly’s exasperation at Spillane’s mistake today was one of the more amusing ones we’ve seen.
Speaking about Dublin’s on-field prowess on today’s Sunday Game, Spillane said “I mention two words about Dublin all the time, what makes Dublin so great — two words: composure and decision-making.”
Brolly instantly cut across him, saying “That’s three words,” holding up three fingers to illustrate his point. Spillane quickly said “You’re right,” and carried on, but Brolly wasn’t done on the matter, shaking his head in something that looked a bit like disbelief.
