WATCH: Noel Gallagher absolutely slate Jose Mourinho and Gary Neville this Super Sunday

Noel Gallagher showed no fear in his role of guest this Super Sunday as he watched his beloved Manchester City claim victory over Manchester United this afternoon at Old Trafford.

Gallagher joined Gary Neville and Graeme Souness for coverage of the game – during which he took no mercy on his fellow presenter.

Gallagher: “It’s great to be sat next to a football legend [turns to Graeme Souness] – and Gary Neville.”

However, the slagging didn’t last long, as Gallagher went on to commend both United fans and Neville himself.

“It’s payback time – Gary [Neville] has lauded it up at ours many times down the years. It’s a pleasure to be sat beside him. Respect to the United fans who clapped Pep Guardiola off – they know they’ve seen something special today.”

The musician then went on to voice his less-than-satisfied opinions about United manager Jose Mourinho, ripping to shreds his post-match interview.

Mourinho states that ”City are lucky and always get decisions in their favour,” to which Gallagher responded with: ”The hypocrisy of that man is staggering.”

Between that and Jurgen Klopp laughing in a reporter’s face during his post-match assessment – this Super Sunday has been anything but super for football fans.
