WATCH: Robbie Keane performs a brilliant version of Joxer Goes to Stuttgart in Dublin pub

Paul Moore

Love this.

During his remarkable career in the green jersey, Robbie Keane gave Irish supporters more to sing about than most.

Nobody will ever forget the sheer euphoria and happiness that swept the country after his goal against Germany in Ibaraki, and that famous strike was just one of the 68 goals that he registered for the boys in green during a wonderful international career.

The former Spurs and Liverpool striker has consistently proven his talent for goalscoring, but he also shown that he’s a fairly decent singer also.

Over the years, we’ve seen him perform The Green Fields of France,  Me and My Broken Heart and Karma Chameleon, to name just a few, and Keano has now turned his singing talents towards a bona fide Irish classic, Joxer Goes to Stuttgart

Take a look as he performs Christy Moore’s iconic anthem in Cassidys, Dublin. Kudos should also go to Rake the Ashes, the band that play in the venue every Sunday.

The crowd went absolutely wild for him. Take a look.
