It’s creeping ever closer…
UFC 202 takes place in Las Vegas on August 20, where Conor McGregor will fight Nate Diaz in an eagerly awaited rematch.
While some have complained that the rematch is a little unorthodox considering the clear-cut nature of the first fight between the pair back in March, there’s no doubting that UFC fans are looking forward to seeing The Notorious taking to the Octagon again.
We’ve seen McGregor taking some time out from training to meet Cristiano Ronaldo and more recently, Nate Diaz prank some unsuspecting fans on Jimmy Kimmel.
As the excitement for the contest builds, the UFC release promos to hype the event, but this fan promo is as good as any official trailer for the fight we’ve seen.
Created by Gerard Walsh, this promo is slightly different from some of the others we’ve seen in the past and it was inspired by the stunning Holy Holm and Ronda Rousey video from last year.
The star of the video is Nate ‘The Great’ Kelly who trains out of Straight Blast Gym in Dublin, a young man with a big future ahead of him.
