Maybe Cleverley can get a new contract?
This season was far from a vintage one for Manchester United fans but the future looks a whole lot brighter, especially with news today of a staggering kit deal with Adidas.
The Red Devils finally have a manager who looks like he knows what he is doing, Moyes looked like he was only there to make the tea and the club have just announced a new world record £750m deal with Adidas that will span 10 years.
The staggering figure is more than double the amount what they currently earn from Nike and it hugely surpasses the closest record, Chelsea signed a 10 year contract with the same company for £300m.
The new contract with Adidas will come into effect at the start of the 2015-16 season and it marks the end of United’s 13 year partnership with Nike.

The club released a short statement today saying, “Manchester United plc has reached a ten-year agreement with adidas for a global technical sponsorship and dual branded licensing deal for a minimum guarantee of GBP 750 million, subject to certain adjustments, beginning with the 2015/2016 campaign.
Missing out on Champions League football was obviously a blow to the club’s finances but this new agreement is a massive boost for new manager Louis Van Gaal. Expect transfer speculation to be rife until the end of the transfer window.
So Man Utd fans, who would you like to see arrive at Old Trafford?
