Apple aficionados watched on with interest earlier this week as
their latest toys were revealed at a launch at their swanky new HQ in California.
The big ‘surprise’ was the unveiling of the new iPhone X on the tenth anniversary of the release of the original iPhone, but as secrets go, it wasn’t exactly well-kept as there had been
plenty of chatter about it before the event on Tuesday.
Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are available to pre-order directly from the Apple website from today, September 15, with
prices starting from €829 for a 64GB iPhone 8, rising to €1,109 for a 256GB iPhone 8 Plus.
Plenty of Irish consumers, of course, sign up to bill pay contracts with mobile providers and on the day that both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus became available to pre-order, those mobile providers revealed their price plans for devices which are likely to be highly sought after between now and Christmas.
