Let us be honest: we kinda all want to be Star Lord.
Actually, come to think of it, we kinda all want to be Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Drax and Gamora, too. They’re all kick ass and they’re all immeasurably cool.
Well, just before the movie’s sequel is due to arrive in cinemas, you can do the next best thing, and control them in the upcoming video-game version of their characters.
The game isn’t a direct relation to the movies, set within the same universe but telling completely different stories. The original cast aren’t involved, but the movies’ director James Gunn did help out with the soundtrack, so that’s pretty cool!
Only on the soundtrack list. But I talked to some of the people working on it and they were very nice. https://t.co/QZ4UzgWQ4l

Meanwhile, the game itself comes from the folks at Telltale Games, who previously brought us game series versions of The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones and Batman.
The first episode of the Guardians Of The Galaxy series will be available for download on 18 April on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Android and iOS, while retail versions will be available from 5 May which will include the first episode on disc format, and a Season Pass to download the remaining episodes as they are released.
Watch the first in-game footage trailer below, which shows the Guardians making fun of the infamously slow elevators from Mass Effect. Oh, and saving the universe and stuff.
