It’s very likely that we’ve spent years of our lives playing the iconic N64 game Goldeneye and if you’ve ever annihilated your mates via a hail of RC-P90 bulltes, you’ll know the reasons why this is the case.
Very few games can rightfully be claimed as absolute classic but just like Super Mario Kart, Street Fighter II: Turbo and Resident Evil 2, Goldeneye will always be regarded as one of the greatest games that was ever made.
We still get chills from hearing that whisping noise that accompanies an expert headshot via the sniper rifle and expertly killing your friends via a well placed proximity mine is still a giddy rush.
