‘Kenny on the brink of single-party rule’ – the Irish Independent
‘Labour and FG dispute on fiscal plans grows more heated’ – the Irish Times
‘Ruling cuts cost of morning-after pill to €9.99’ – the Irish Examiner
The latest Irish Indo poll shows Fine Gael bounding clear of the rest of the pack. Fianna Fáil are languishing with just 12pc support and the prospect of securing only 13 seats from the General Election.
The Indo has done the maths and reckons Enda Kenny’s party is on course for 78 seats and a single-party government.
Meanwhile, Fine Gael and Labour are doing some more eyeballing – this time over taxes, debt reduction and other policies.
And now every pharmacy in Ireland is able to sell the morning-after pill without prescription or GP authorisation after the Irish Medicines Board (IMB) approved the over the counter sale of Norlevo.
The cost of the pill is also expected to decrease more than four-fold, following the ground-breaking decision, so says the Examiner.
