03/05 JOE’s Daily Double

We’re going for two Scots to deliver the goods in Bank Holiday Monday’s Daily Double.

JOE

We’re going for two Scots to deliver the goods in Bank Holiday Monday’s Daily Double.

GRAEME DOTT has the experience to turn things around in the World Snooker Championship final against Neil Robertson.

The Scot looked in need of a rest on Sunday night but despite losing his touch in the second session he could still have gone in level at 8-8.

He’s been here and done it before, losing one final in 2004 before winning two years later, and that experience could be crucial. A straight 2/1 looks a little bit of value.

To racing and our focus is on Windsor and a trappy little five-runner handicap at 3.25.

Centigrade is the warm favourite but we think he can be taken on first time out, so we’ll plump for AL FARAHIDI. Mark Johnston’s colt was a well-backed favourite for his handicap debut three weeks ago. He disappointed there but connections clearly feel he’s better than his handicap mark so we’ll take another chance.

JOE’s Daily Double: Graeme Dott (to win World Snooker Championship @ 2/1) and Al Farahidi (Windsor, 3.25 @ 15/2)
