40 things to do before you’re 40, Part 1

The smash hit movie 'This is 40' hits cinemas on Valentine's Day and hearing about it got us thinking, what are the top 40 things you must do before you hit the milestone?

We’ve all heard of a bucket list and we’re sure some of you have probably completed most of it by now. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a list of things that we’d like to do before we die, but the older you get the less likely you are to do some of the more extreme activities. So over the next four days we're bringing you the top 40 things we’d like to do before we hit 40.

1. Bungee jump

2. Sky dive

3. Climb a mountain (a real mountain; Croagh Patrick doesn’t count)

4. Stay in the famous Ice Hotel

5. Buy a round of drinks for the whole bar (at 2pm on a Tuesday)

6. Scuba dive

7. Visit 40 different countries

8. Try Fugu (the blowfish sushi that can kill you if it’s cooked wrong)
