The Special One shares a special moment with a journalist at his press conference
ITV News journalist Rags Martel recently faced a tough battle with cancer, but he has come out the other side of it and is back in work and covering Chelsea for his employer.
He was undoubtedly warmly welcomed back to work by all his friends and the rest of the journalists at the Chelsea press conference, which was his first since returning from his battle with cancer, but that wasn’t the only welcome he was getting, as José Mourinho spotted him in the crowd.
The Special One certainly made Martel feel pretty special indeed, and while it doesn’t seem like much, it could be easy enough for Mourinho to not have made a point of it, or not even remembered Martel amongst all the sea of people he sees, but it was a very nice touch from the Portuguese. Normally we’re quite cynical about the world of football, but this was genuinely a nice moment.
