Cheered on by a packed home support of more than 50,000 fans, the San Jose Earthquakes sealed a dramatic 3-2 win over the LA Galaxy which had the commentators pretty excited.
Dubbed the ‘California Clasico’, Robbie Keane was instrumental in helping the Galaxy to a two-goal lead and the task looked to be beyond them when they were down to 10 men for the final 23 minutes.
However the home side rallied and equalised in the 92nd minute, but there was still time for a late, late winner for Alan Gordon as his header went in much to the despair of goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini for his second of the game.
