According to GQ he’s Britain’s best-dressed man but even Tinie Tempah is guilty of a fashion faux pas now and then.
Ever since Kanye West began convincing his fellow rappers to ditch the bling and embrace pastel colours when he first broke onto the scene, hip hop stars’ fashion sense have grown a lot more sophisticated and eclectic.
This is particularly true of huge UK artist Tinie Tempah, who is always dapper and rarely misses a beat whether on stage or appearing at any promotional events. However, there has to be a limit to his current grandad look, which you can see below.
Tinie was attending the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Final at Cowdray Park Polo Club last week and evidently felt that he had to pull out all the stops for the change of scene but that’s not really any excuse for yellow socks, is it?
The 23-year-old looked older than his years in an ensemble that included a buttoned-up raincoat, canary-yellow socks, brown brogues and cheque Dolce & Gabbana trousers.
Has the GQ honour gone to his head? Is this just a fashion step too far? Oh well, at least Mollie King of The Saturdays (above) seems to like it. At the end of the day, that’s probably all that counts.
