After the controversial religious group said they would be going to Boston to picket the funerals, the lads at Anonymous jumped into action.

After the tragic events at Boston, it was, unfortunately, no surprise to see the controversial Westboro Baptist Church try to capitalise on the media coverage of the event by saying they were going to picket the funerals of those who died.
However, the new vigilantes of the internet, the Anonymous group, have decided that they had just about enough of the groups messages of hate, and sent them a warning.
Since then, they’ve taken over their Facebook page, and have been posting memes, jokes, and messages of positivity and inclusiveness, that will surely have the group raging.
They changed the heading on the top of the page to read “THE OFFICIAL WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH FACEBOOK Y’ALL!” and stated that the leaders of the church were “Marilyn Manson, Anonymous and Captain Crunch”, as well as posting a few great pictures.
The first message on the page (as we speak) is this, from Ali ibn Abi Talib, the cousin of the Prophet Mohammad.
Under the heading “Westboro?”, they simply posted this hilarious meme:
They’ve also put up a post of a dog on a computer, which is just brilliant.
And, given that these people are internet nerds after all, they posted a Star Trek meme that came with a further warning for the Westboro people.
The folks over at Anonymous have also threatened to attack the Westboro homepage if they continue with their picketing plans.
One particular tweeter did make a good point about them heading to the funerals that we have to agree with:
That’s a meeting that the Westboro folks don’t want to happen, trust us. You should not mess with Boston.
