While we will lose an hour in bed tomorrow, on the bright side we know summer can’t be far away as the evenings get that bit longer and the mornings brighter. So what exactly can you do in 60 minutes?

JOE looks at some ways people have put their hour to intensive use and made their way into the Guinness Book of Records.

Most pancakes made in an hour

956 – Steve Hamilton (USA) – he held the rcord in 2006, before losing it and regaining it again in 2009.

Most snowmen built in an hour

1,279 – Clearlink (USA) – the way our weather is going we could give it a go.

Most pizzas made in an hour

106 – Brian Edler (USA) – Each pizza contained a 14-ounce 12-inch base, between 4.5 and 6 oz of sauce and 8 to 10 oz of cheese. 206 out of 215 pizzas were deemed acceptable by the judges.

Most sandcastles built in an hour

1,939 – The Waves of Change (Ireland) – achieved on Killahoey beach, in Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal on 15 September 2012.

Most one-arm push-ups in an hour

1,868 – Paddy Doyle (UK) – this record has stood for an impressive 20 years.
