If any one piece of commentary summed up the significance of Celtic’s victory over Barcelona and what it meant to Hoops fans, then this is surely it.
It’s been four days since Neil Lennon’s side produced one of the biggest upsets ever witnessed in the Champions League with a victory over the Catalans at Celtic Park that will go down as one of the finest nights in the history of the club.
The players, the fans and even Lennon himself got caught up in the emotion of the occasion on the night, but nobody got quite as carried away as Krys Kujawa, the host of the Paradise Report, who provide live audio commentary at Celtic matches.
To say that Kujawa was excited by both of Celtic’s goals would be putting it extremely mildly, but his commentary will make the hairs stand up on the back of most football fans’ necks, even non-Celtic supporters.
Granted, it’s hard to make what he’s actually saying at times (which is where the subtitles come in handy) but try not to worry too much about that and just appreciate the passion and sheer joy that Kujawa brings to the table. Brilliant stuff.
