With Roy Keane in Croke Park on Sunday to watch Davy Fitzgerald’s Clare book their place in the All-Ireland Final, it brought two of the most colourful managers together in one venue.
Of course Keane’s managerial career has taken something of a backward step in recent times and the former Ipswich and Sunderland boss has taken up more punditry work, while the Banner head honcho thrives on the big championship days on the sideline. And both men know a thing or two about the pressure-cooker environment of management.
With that in mind, Gift Grub on Today FM didn’t miss a trick and pitted the two men performing a brilliant duet of Queen’s ‘Under Pressure’, as well as a quick chat about the upcoming final on September the 8th. Naturally, Davy is predicting “a real battle”.
