In a massive blow to many a business on the social media network LinkedIn, they’ve changed their rules so you can no longer promote escort services.

JOE is hanging up our leather vest and cowboy boots on the news today that LinkedIn no longer lets you promote your escort service on their site.
According to the lads at Mashable, they updated their user agreement (that thing that you click ‘agree’ to without thinking on pretty much every site) on Monday, and it now states that you are not allowed to “Upload, post, email, InMail, transmit or otherwise make available or initiate any content that: Even if it is legal where you are located, create profiles or provide content that promotes escort services or prostitution”.
That puts paid to that anyway. Apparently they needed to make a clarification because seeing as LinkedIn is global, there were some countries where they were operating where it was actually legal to run an escort business.
So, it’s off to Twitter or Facebook for JOE’s service Midnight Cowboy, you can drop us a tweet if you need our services. We’ll warn you though, we’re pricey because we’re high class.
