The Gunners’ former captain could be heading back to the Emirates.

Barcelona have reportedly told four Premier League clubs that Cesc Fabregas can leave the Nou Camp for £30million.

Although Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu publicly stated that Fabregas was not for sale, it’s now thought that he fancies a return to England with his place at his hometown club under threat.

Arsenal, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs have been alerted to his availability, with the Gunners and Manchester City – who could lose Yaya Touré this summer – thought to be at the head of the queue.

Arsene Wenger’s side has a buy-back clause for Fabregas, having sold him to Barcelona three years ago, although any move there depends on Fabregas telling Barcelona that he wants to move back to North London.
