Occasional Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner had a bit of a meltdown in Copenhagen on Tuesday night after a night out on the tiles.
Arsenal were in Munich on Tuesday night playing their last 16 Champions League 2nd leg tie against Bayern (pic below), but their big Danish striker, Nicklas Bendtner, was in Copenhagen using his time off to visit home. He took a taxi and had a blazing row with the driver and the driver called the police to report it.
He allegedly took off his belt and started hitting the taxi as well as threatening the driver that he would ‘f**k him’ and also called him a ‘little bitch’
As if that wasn’t bizarre enough, he allegedly opened his trousers and rubbed himself alongside the car. Yeah, we’re not sure what that was all about either. According to Danish tabloid BT, the cab driver said: “I have had drunk passengers in my car for 25 years and I have never seen anything like it.” We assume he is referring to the behaviour here.
Bendtner is set to leave Arsenal in the summer when his contract runs out and recently lamented the fact that reports of him being a ‘psychopath’ were harming his chances of finding a club. Glad you put those allegations to bed so Nicklas.
