The spring tides can make for great viewing, and this photo from Lahinch shows just how spectacular it really can be.

The picture was taken outside the surf shop in the Clare village, which was pretty apt considering what the tide was throwing up in the background.
Ronan Feehan captured the moment with the tide coming up over the prom and people scattering for shelter.
