The Scottish international says he intended no offence with the male and female full frontal nude pic he posted to his 80,000+ followers last night.
While Cristiano Ronaldo was very popular on Twitter last night after tweeting out a picture of his new boots, Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew was trending for a very different reason.
The 27-year-old tweeted an uncensored version of the below picture last night with just the hashtag ‘nofilter’, instantly causing a hell of a stir on social media.
Some on Twitter thought it was the man himself but it was quickly confirmed that the pair are in fact called Emily and Brendon and the picture was taken by Norwegian photographer Petter Hegre.
This morning, Mulgrew has apologised but we reckon Neil Lennon will have a quiet, or maybe not so quiet, word with him this morning.
