Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke looks set to miss the World Cup after reportedly tearing his Achilles tendon in training on Thursday.
The 23-year-old Belgian would have been a shoo-in for his country’s World Cup squad but now faces a summer of recuperation instead of going to Brazil.
