Yesterday they served up the mother of all beatings to brush aside the feeble challenge of Hamburg, with Claudio Pizarro scoring four and Arjen Robben grabbing a brace, with Pizarro’s back-heel the pick of the bunch.
The Germans will go into their Champions League tie with Juventus brimming with confidence, though they will probably be disappointed to concede two goals, only the third time it has happened in the league this season.
Juve could have their hands full on Tuesday.
