Clever Fergie front page on today’s Sun

Yesterday was an emotional one for Alex Ferguson and Manchester United. The Sun’s front page does a fine job of covering it.

On Thursday The Sun came up with a very good front page to signal the end of Alex Ferguson’s tenure as Manchester United manager. While today’s effort isn’t quite as good we still have to give them marks for effort.

With Old Trafford giving their greatest ever manager a fine send off yesterday it was no surprise that the 71-year-old was almost in tears at one point during his farewell.

The Sun reckon he was close enough to warrant the below headline.

We thought they were done with hairdryer puns after they declared David Moyes the ‘heir-dryer’ apparant on Friday. Guess we were wrong.
