Comedian Pat Shortt takes great pleasure in Kilkenny loss

Kilkenny’s loss today has been greeted in some parts with a degree of joy and few can be as happy as comedian Pat Shortt.

Kilkenny’s loss today has been greeted in some parts with a degree of joy and few can be as happy as comedian Pat Shortt.

Kilkenny’s exit, plus the elimination of Tipperary and Galway means the final four has an unfamiliar look to it, but for many it is the exiting of the Cats in July that really throws the cat amongst the pigeons.

Tipp fans will presumably shed few tears for the plight of Brian Cody’s men. They have been the biggest rivals to Kilkenny in recent years and were themselves sent packing by black and amber in Nowlan Park this year,

Funny man Shortt took to Twitter to illustrate his feelings after the game and it is fair to say he was happy to see the Rebels win at Semple Stadium today.
