Only nine people have made it onto the Hall of Flame for finishing possibly the spiciest pizza in the world, though many have tried unsuccessfully.

The Saltdean Sizzler has got the better of many at Paul Brayshaw’s pizzeria in East Sussex in what he considers to be the spiciest pizza in the world.
Since he created the hot dish last year, 1,307 of the pizzas have been made, but only eight men and one woman have managed to finish the meal.
“I have always loved spicy food and that was what initially put the idea in my head. I also like watching the TV show Man vs Food and that inspired me to add this to my menu,” he told reporters.
Paul and his Saltdean Sizzler
Paul himself has only managed six slices, and he has contacted the Guinness Book of Records to confirm that it should be officially classified as the spiciest pizza in the world. In order to achieve this it must measure over 1 million on the Scovell scale, which measures the hotness of a chilli.
It may seem a little harsh, but those that fail the challenge are put up on the Hall of Shame.
