We thought Noel King would make a few changes tonight, but this one is too radical.
After seeing him in the flesh, so to speak, fairly recently we can confirm that Kevin Kilbane is still in pretty good nick and we reckon he could still do a job for Ireland if we really needed him.
The Daily Mirror were so confident that he could still pull on the boots that they named the retired Irish legend and stuck him at left back in their graphic predicting the Irland team to face Germany tonight.
Sadly, for those Killer fans out there, the man himself has taken to Twitter to deny a comeback.
