Chelsea booked their place in the Europa League final last night, with David Luiz the hero both on and off the pitch.

The Brazilian defender/midfielder scored a screamer last night as the Blues blitzed Basle in the opening stages of the second half and can look forward to a second successive European final in Amsterdam later this month.
Luiz would have been understandably pleased with his contribution, but his highlight of the night came post-match with a special moment with some of his Irish fans.

We have no doubt that the fans were both delighted with the result and also to meet the player himself afterwards.
A touching gesture from the Luiz who can do no wrong it seems at the moment.
