Last night was the final Monday Night Football of the season so Gary Neville discussed his Premier League Team of the Season.

The final Monday Night Football wasn’t the most thrilling match we have ever seen, though it was good from an Irish standpoint to see two of the Boys in Green get on the scoresheet with strikes from Jon Walters and John O’Shea ensuring Sunderland and Stoke shared the spoils.
The Sky Sports pundit also took time to choose his best XI of the season and it bore an uncanny resemblance to the PFA Team of the Year. In fact the only change was Steven Gerrard replacing Eden Hazard in the centre of midfield. The former United defender had been on Twitter last week asking for suggestions on who to partner Carrick with Fellaini and Cazorla suggested by many, but he plumped for the Kop hero.
Neville has been a breath of fresh air this season and we thought his side would have had one or two that had been over-looked in the PFA team, but it wasn’t to be.
We look forward to the Man Utd – Liverpool rivalry being continued next season now that Jamie Carragher has been confirmed as a fellow pundit.
