Dublin saw off Meath today at Croke Park in the sunshine today to claim yet another Leinster title

Dublin beat Meath today by a score of 2-15 to 0-14, but needed to step up their performance a gear in the second half to do so.

They were behind at the break as they hit a bad run of wides before the half, but Ciaran Kilkenny, named man of the match, did his part to spur Dublin back into life in the second period.

The game was played in a decent spirit throughout, but tempers did flare up from time to time under the hot sun at Croke Park.

Paul Mannion stroked home a goal in the 69th minute which finally killed off any meaningful challenge from Meath, but the men from Royal County were outscored by 1-11 to 0-05 in the second half, which was the telling factor.
