Sitting mid-table in the Dutch Eredivisie, Den Haag mightn’t be flying high but it seems like their supporters most certainly are.

The club beat Feyenoord 2-0 last weekend which would have given the fans plenty to cheer about, were they not already in high spirits. Far too high spirits.
Local media reports have suggested that 16 supporters had to be taken to hospital during the game after falling ill and passing out in the stands. After undergoing tests, it was found that all of them had ingested a healthy amount of “space cake” which was served up in one of the corporate boxes at the Kyocera Stadium.
Obviously the club has moved quickly to distance themselves from any wrongdoing, playing the ignorance card by stating they had no idea how the brownies were served in the corporate box and that it was the responsibility of the private companies used by the club.
Whether the Den Haag fans even realised their team had won is not known as some were more likely preoccupied with the consequences of the novel corporate grub.
We wonder if Roy Keane would take the space cake brigade over the prawn sandwich brigade.
